They would be literally losing money otherwise.

To be ... moreI don't think so, the company are carrying about ui and Mui 12.5 are the direct response for that, also Mui 13 are supposed more light and Less buggy than older versions coz software are very important in smartphone even in entry level, by the way oppo, realme, oneplus and samsung have a great ui software with large satisfactory of their customers worldwide.

I applaud what redmi is doing in low end market. They are making excellent powerful and high quality products available to low income people in developing countries.

At launch of 10 pro was same time when poco f3 was released and they were very close in the price point. F3 cost like 10-20 euro more then note 10 pro while was pretty much 2 times the power While Poco X3 that is like year old have that same SD732 that the note 10 pro have. difference with these are only the camera and AMOLED screen. Probably 3.5mm jack also in note 10 pro favor

Redmi Note 10 - The one if your budget is not enough to get the pro one or just plain didn't need the high spec.
Redmi Note 10 pro - The best value/performance if not for MIUI woes.
Redmi Note 5G - the cut down spec for budget 5G

And this is low end budget phone. Well from it's price that have gone up it is not that budget phone anymore. Especially when you get redmi note 10S or just Note 10 that have 120hz AMOLED screens on them close to same price
