The Redmi 10 that was spotted on a Singaporean retailer's website earlier this week has been certified by Thailand's NBTC, moving it a step closer to the launch.

The Thai authority doesn't divulge anything about the Redmi 10 other than revealing it's a 4G-only smartphone and won't support 5G networks.

However, thanks to the Singaporean retailer's listing, we know the Redmi 10 will be powered by the Helio G88 SoC, run Android 11-based MIUI 12, and have 6GB RAM and 128GB storage onboard.

The smartphone will pack a 6.5" FullHD+ 90Hz LCD with a punch hole in the center for the 8MP selfie camera, while the rear panel will sport a quad camera system consisting of 50MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth units.

The Redmi 10 will also feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm headphone jack, and keeping the lights on will be a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W charging.

The Helio G88-powered smartphone was listed on the retailer's website for SGD249 ($185/€155) with three color options, but there's no word from Xiaomi about the smartphone yet.
