Look at the k810i, those things just never die, and they are still being sold second hand at ridiculous high prices, people cant get enough of that everlasting classic with its xenon flash. The k810i and some other SE phones are proof that SE was truly the highest quality manufacturer. I used to buy and sell and repair cellphones as a hobby, i had hundreds of phones, and theres no doubt that SE is best. Some old Nokia can still fetch a good price but they have far more issues and die faster from normal usage, they just simply... stop.

However, theres no need to wait for Galaxy S4, it can take a long time. The Note 2 is the real samsung flagship, dont listen to people talking about phablet and whatever, Note 2 is an ordinary smartphone, its just bigger an better than other smartphones. I do however admit that its ppi at 267 is less than optimal, the quality of small fonts sometimes is a little obvious, better than Pentile at 300+ ppi but not great. Anyway, the advantage of the big display outweighs this little disadvantage.

@nze 1, thanks because so many of us are blinded from these facts. As i have said in my comment, sony has refused to innovate that is the reason it has continued to lose market shares and profits. If sony wants to bounce back, every of its product line from the walkman to blueray must all bounce back as well.

we can say that andriod is now indirectly owned by samsung, and there is noway that samsung is going to give any updated or new version to others co before they have used it all by them self. Now, lets face it we would definetly like to see new OS, wherever we see see or touch its andriod. lets hope for the best, and best of luck.

I agree.
A sony is not about numbers but usage. They need to improve on features and software that differentiates them from other manufactureres.
I use an Arc for 1.5 years, it is smooth, simple to use, reliable, nice battery, fast charging and very tough and reliable. Great camera by the way.
Nice size which fits confortably in the pocket and my god, how it attracts atemption! even iPhone users stare at it and say «uau! great looking phone! Is that a Sony?»
I would like if it had some metal instead of plastic but then again it is lighter this way.

But there were no updates for my play, not even gingerbread 2.3.7. That led me to look elsewhere. I am considering a Note II now for the sheer perfomance and features provided but am holding on to see if there is any rumour of SGSIV around the corner

maybe some phone more. developed then sony not because they better but because sony search in perfection in eatch devise they make, i have sony xperia s i can said prodly that this phone is better then samsung s3 and iphone 5 :D
