Lenovo was supposed to be the most affordable quality smartphone in philippines, but unfortunately there are other local brands here who rebrands other international phones and the price is just too cheap.. ex. Dualcore selling at $90 dollars 4k in ph peso.

It doesn't have to do with unfair trade practice. Lenovo offers the same spec phone as Samsung but cost a third less. The K860 is a great phone.

chn has very unfair trade practices. they flood the world with their crap stuff helped by artificially low currency exchange, but makes it impossible to sell others merchandise in chn unless they produce it in chn. bribes, extortion, and copying is common practice there.

Lenovo produce good laptops so hopefully both will end up at each others necks, meaning lower prices and better specs for the consumer!

Lik, 22 Nov 2012Great news. I hate Samsung. Actually there is no need to hate anybody. Just fyi, Samsung makes phones on Android, Windows and Bada platform. They have phones for all price range as well as feature range. It's only up to you to choose a phone that meets your requirements. Similarly Nokia has Symbian, Meego and Windows, HTC has Android and Windows, Motorola etc. etc. They all have several features not found in Samsung. It does not make them any superior or inferior. If any company has the thought process to provide value for money, they too will someday over take Samsung. If it is Lenovo's turn to take the top spot, so be it. It is only good for consumers like you and me. BTW I use a SGN2 and chose it for its features. If some other brand had similar features I would have purchased it from that brand. Don't forget, it's your money. And you should be cautious about how much value you can get for your money. Peace!

Noel Carson, 22 Nov 2012Don't be so ignorant. You never know what can happen in future. @Noel Carson. Yeah mate. You are absolutely correct. However, Samsung will not vanish overnight either unless there is a very big scam like Enron. Moreover, unlike other companies, Samsung is a conglomerate. Samsung mobile is just one of the several mainstream business of Samsung.
