Maybe not as crazy as you first think.
If you shift you perspective and think of it as a very compact tablet, it might be a cool device.
Often they say that you can bring a 7" tablet in the pocket of a jacket... well, that is true for some jackets/coats, 6.1 would probably fit in the pockets of pretty much any jacket, making it quite a bit more practical than 7".
What about hand bags, well, some are large enough for a 7 incher, but not all the going out purses, 6.1" would probably fit in most of them as well.
But in the summertime you will likely have to bring a bag with you, or use pants/shorts with side pockets, and that is not coming in to fashion again any time soon, if these kind of devices doesnt drive the fashion... but I doubt they will.
SO yes, as a phone, that you are supposed to always bring with you, its problematic.
But as a tablet that you can easily find room for, if you need it, its quite a good product.
Ok, if it ran WP and had fully compatible OneNote and a Pen, I would get it instantly, despite the size, and find a way yo always bring it, cause I badly need a good digital notepad... and matte screen would really make a difference.

the first thing they should do other than making competitors for best selling units out there is to change there company name to something more interesting , cuz when i hear huawei i dont even see any real invention in that name either , i couldnt stop laughing when i saw this , huawei should first try to at least match the selling point of lg phones in the market other than trying to catch giant samsung's .

After the experience I had with Huawei Ascend P1 I can clearly says that Huawei is a serious good value for money, defintly sure that Huawei will be a mjor competitor very soon

there's why galaxy is no fight in China! ZTE, Huawei, Xiao Mi all good feature and much cheaper than the overpriced and overrated galaxy phones :)

The real issue is one of security. Can you trust the hardware or software not to spy on your every movement. Actually, no. Better to just have a simple Nokia cheap mobile to make calls and sms's.
