I'm in good time both iOS and WP8 will catch up with the 1080p screen race....until then I'm enjoying my Nokia Lumia 920, it's screen is more then good enough, and besides I cannot adopt Android as its not for me....again it's each to their own, I'm a iOS and WP8 fan....

Bummer cause was really hoping for some top notch windows phones to finally emerge. Windows phone 8 has been a bit of a disappointment so far.

lol, 18 Dec 2012from wat u said i understood only two things .. android was... moreman iOS and wp are laggy to. they jsut hide it behind fancy animations and waiting screens. iOS hides the crashes. it just goes back to the home screen. it' considered that users wont be able to distinguish between a crash and an accidentla press of the home button. and WP hides it's lag in all the swapping page effects.
ask anyone with a iphoen about lag after installing 5-6 apps minimum and they will admit it. every OS ever creted lags. and the fact that peole say andoid is laggy shows how stupid they are. android , ios and wp are not laggy. simbyan is laggy. nwo thats laggy. takes 1-2 secodns just ot take any command. now android and ios and wp are absolutely lag free as concerne with the hardware thay use. unless yo uwant to pay for a quantum computer inside a phone then you will always have lag, even if it's a few ms, not seconds like simbyan.

How could everyone at Microsoft forget about 1080p screen resolution? Microsoft is working real hard to make Windows Phone less attractive.

Good decision, windows phone is clear flop, it doesnt which brand the are belong, like samsung, nokia, htc, lg all of them making wp but no ones phones get a sucees. Its not brands fault, windows gone kill them. Good job htc avoid windows

Windows is flop, and as compare to android, in any aspect, whether its price, spec, fatures, android is millions times better. Htc realize that its better to put efforts, skills on android rather than flop windows, and make another flop divice, All n all good decision.

MS would've been a bit more farsighted and included 1080p support as well in wp 8 not necessarily to make a device in 2012 itself but for futureproofing like they did with the number of cores supported(i think it's 64).
Yes we know that the diffrence to naked eye is barely visible(720p vs 1080p displays) but who's gonna tell that to today's specs hungry market.
