macrimson, 20 Dec 2012what about galaxy s i9000 official update plz someone tell meOfficial Jelly Bean 4.1.2 for Galaxy S1 GT-I9000 doesn't exist and will never be, but you can root your device and from CWM Recovery you can install SLIMBEAN wich is a custom ROM.

deceptor, 20 Dec 2012u wil never get it unless u root ur phone sammy boyu dnt hav 2 root ur android to get jellybean! u just hav 2 be on OTA or check 4 an update via samsung kies! on the ace 2 u dnt hav to root it and that is definite!

Each company first gets the Android update from Google, then customizes it for respective UIs in each company. Like Samsung customizes Android with Touchwiz & then several modifications for several devices. Sameway, HTC does customizations for Sense UI & then modifications for several devices. Because of a large no. of Android devices, it becomes difficult to release updates very quickly. Android devices have different variants all over the world. Apple has more or less 4-5 devices which are same worldwide.

Aakash, 19 Dec 2012I am having samsung galaxy s advance....with android versio... moreIt is possible.. S advance will skip Android 4.0 ICS & will get Jellybean Android 4.1 directly. Hv patience.. It may get delayed though by 1 month or so. But it will get an update. Cheers
