Its great to be a Samsung user. My GS3 already running 4.1.2 and my GS2 will be getting it next month, happy days :)

Poor Sony users, Sony really should take notes from Samsung, they could learn a thing or two. :)

i just wish it appears when u search for update in ur phone or when connecting the phone to kies.. and the software does it all, cuz manually updating scares me..(the odin stuff) like what if i do something wrong and f*** up my phone??

I think Samsung is doing a good Job. They are still supporting their older generations of phones/tablets with the latest Android update. What more do you expect. I only expect support for my expensive Samsung devices. Hopefully Samsung keeps doing so. Just imagine after spending 400-700 Euros you end up without support just after a few months - Just as had happened with the famous Samsung i8910 OMNIA HD. Maybe Samsung has at last learned to support their products.

Omitted to mention that one of the reasons I'm disgusted with Samsung is that in view of their widely reported promise to release JB for the S2 in December EVERY SINGLE DAY when I first sit at my desk, I connect my S2 to my Mac, fire up Kies and check for updates.

I have WASTED my time and Samsung aught to be ashamed.

For all the patent business and other issues one may have, the ethics of this company are out of sync with that of Apple. No pun intended.

Why is this good news? We were told countless times the JB update would arrive for the S2 in December at the latest. This is a ploy by Samsung to make people buy the S3. I won't be falling for that and am not waiting any longer and going to sell our S2 and get the Nexus 4. (Even if the S3 and Nexus 4 cost the same and performed the same, I would boycot Samsung for lying.

At least Apple have the decency to launch such updates prior the holidays.

Wake up. If everyone wanted an iphone why would they not buy it? Would they think "Must Resist Iphone Tempation Aaahhh" and just buy another phone? Nope, that's clearly not the case. They buy something else because that's what they want.

Samsung is now officially the best company regarding updating service. Makes me sad that other companies do not follow Samsung's pattern, because I really dislike Samsung's designs. I prefer HTC's and Sony's designs' but they release so many "flagship" phones that you just can't decide what to buy cause the next day, maybe another "flagship" will be announced. That being said I will probably wait for the release of SGS4 since it seems like the safest bet on updates. I was almost going to buy the oppo find 5 but then came the announcement that it only has 16gb rom+ no microsd support.
