At least Samsung maximizes the software level of their flagship. Arc S was Sony's flagship that is same level as Nexus S, hence it should get up to JB 4.1.2 instead of stuck on ICS.

Xperia sola is nt getting JB due to lower amt of Ram
Project butter will not be working, but they should alter OS such that at least Google Now can work over these devices or we are dependent on xda developers.

its not fare..........xperia s gets jelly bean at last............no xperia s is first phone by sony.......it should get first from all phone..........its a flagship phone....sony sholud give update as the phone realesed,...........

Hello guys, why are you worrying about the official update.I am running cyanogenmod 10 (4.1.2)jb in my xperia mini st15i. Its working fine. Its just fine. The steps for unlocking and rooting are also easy. Do it and enjoy your 2011 line ups.! Don't get angry be cool. They are all manufacturers.they look for profit. They want to sell more models. Understand!

sony is folling us. sony I still didnt got ics for xperia sola. and how xperia u cant run jb. even samsung galaxy mini 2 is going to be updated to jelly bean. sony just want that people will sell their phones for latest version of android and buy new ones.

Same issue happened with Samsung when they said they wont update Galaxy S I900 to ICS.
Now Sony is treating their customer the same way as Samsung did last year.
Wake up guys, its the same story with every Android manufacturer.
If you expect long term updates on a droid, go for Google branded Android phone (like the Nexus 4).
On the other hand, Apple is still providing updates to a 3-year old iPhone 3GS.

hey guys sony did wrong decisions by excluding xperia miro from jb update....If it can handle ICS smoothly on the Adreno 200 enhanced GPU then why not jelly bean.They are saying that they r considering screen resolution in Go and i know that resolution of miro and go is same with 165ppi.This is ashame to sony nd they are writing that adreno 200 takes less ram and miro have above GPU.I agree that CPU is 800mhz but with project butter it can increse the smoothness more and performance too.DO something for xperia miro users Sony!!!Thanks.

Why can't they catch up with Samsung yet? Already, Samsung's flagship, Galaxy S III has Jelly Bean, while Xperia T is only on its way.

... sony devs are actually partly to blame, my x8 is on gingerbread, and can even be updated to ics, but sony devs decided to keep it to eclair... Makes me wonder if that was their decision or the decision of the ones in control... Everything they deny that is in existence will hurt their image and will cause consumer doubt, which in turn will hurt their sales...
