Anonymous, 31 Dec 2012ahaha, a megahertz man, havent seen one since 2003-2004. ... moreThat's wrong on so many levels. Sony Ericsson Satio, Vivaz, Vivaz Pro, Samsung Omnia HD all used TI OMAP 3 processors which....guess what.....used modern A8 processors for the time. Also, there is no issue with the CPU of Symbian phones, the browser is programmed so badly, it's insane. Like they want people to think it's the OSs fault on purpose in order to have an excuse to go WP route even more. Also, keep in mind Symbian has one of the most powerful GPUs which is much more important

The 920 is said to have FM tuner, it just does not have the software to do so yet.

No, I don't think 920 has FM transmitter at released, I've brand new one right here.

But one free app TuneIt allows for radio streaming for FM station, thus allow me to tune in to my hometown FM radios, WHEREVER I am in the whole world, provided I have internet access. I find that very cool.

AnonD-3557, 31 Dec 2012So you think 555123451 is a true Number?Obviously not, and it goes a long way to prove that this demo unit is not yet ready to be used in real life. Thats unfortunate, we have the audio player not playing and proof that the developers are not using Sailfish themselves, i doubt i will use it then. =)

Meego/N9 did not work at launch, it was almost impossible to make them work out of the box, soon after came an OTA update that fixed the problem so it would work after you updated the handset, but before this update people were stuck with a brick that could do only basic things, things like installing apps from OVI was out of the question (the reg app didnt work so there was no way to gain access to OVI for many users, i lost count how many new email adresses i had to register to try again and again, every time after a full factory reset of the phone, and still it never worked before the update came.)

The N900 was also defective at launch, it worked (the termed worked use loosely here) for some users, for others it would go into constant reboot loop or do other "interesting" things. Similar to Lumia 920, Nokia always had a habit to go ahead and launch even with serious bugs, i guess it was ok with them as long as the bugs didnt affect everyone, like the freeze bug of Lumia 920. You always need to wait for the PR1.1 from these guys, and as the article say, most Sailfish devs are former Nokia Employees, so dont be surprised that they cannot even use it themselves this close to launch.
