GS2 was released in april 201... moreand what the F are you talking about comparing a dual core phone with a quad core one? haha! you should know what you're talking about before saying anything back. you act like you know everything. at least i am comparing two things with almost the same specs, not like you, you base it with age! haha! along the way, in that 10 months time Samsung might have still been producing S2 phones and that they still have time to make the later releases better than the first few ones so there should be no excuses. S2 and XS are both dual core with A9 architectures for their chipsets, both have 4.3 inch screens, 1GB of RAM, and almost same everything! Sony just kills Samsung with cameras and admit it! now with your S3, it has 4.8 inch screen, quad core CPU, in the US though they have dual core versions, they have put in 2GB of RAM so still, no point of comparison. only fault in Sony's part is that they released the Xperia S a little late in the arena. now they've learned their lesson so i think i should tell you Sammy fanboy that i guess you shouldn't compare this Xperia Z to your S4 because Z and ZL will be released ahead than S4 as S3 is still enjoying the limelight and Sammy still wants to make S4 better than the rivals like ZL/Z and the Butterfly from HTC and oh, by the way, Xperia S only got 2.3 gingerbread as its OS and S3 got ICS. ;)

Hi brother! In the US, though there's only a dual core version of the S3, Samsung gave the phones 2GB of RAM which is helpful and still incomparable with 1GB of RAM for Sony. That's the reason why you found less lags on the US versions of the S3 than the flagship devices of Sony. Now you would have to compare the Xperia Z or ZL with the Note 2 or the upcoming S4 because that would be way more fair than this comparing to S3. Cheers!

If you insist, why dont anyone tell something about, S-dous, Grand, S-plus. Lets compare those midrange to sony midrange. Bring it on!

They have learned their lession now and seem to make much more complete phones than they did at first after the breakup with Ericsson. Its sad how they screwed up Xperia S, P and U, those 3 had everything they needed to become iconic, and then Sony HAD to screw it up by not adding card slots, for no good reason. S and U sold well anyway, and P sold "ok" also, but nothing compared to what they could have sold.
Other example of sony screwing up is their eccentiric tablets, the first series was extremely eccentric, and the second was just weird enough to not sell well also, and in regions where people are willing to buy such a design they get the message "This model is not available in your country".

I like this mobile. And it realy beautiful .. I hope xperia z and zl better than galaxy s4.... Samsung mobile is very bad because is screen result is very bad .. I hate samsung

Why not compare it with s3 which came just three months after xperia s...

So, my point is in 2012 the sony's top of the line was lagging. the S3 came up in may with quadcore, in the US with 2 cores and no lag..im talking about what happpend till 2012 and thats why i was criticizing sony. im not talking about this new phone..gotta wait and see how performs...to see if a phone is good or not you always have to compare to another....I read an article here that sony's strategy was to come very strong in 2013 because of their position among the other companies
