And when the power used reaches a level L2, the faster CPU cores go on, while the low power core goes off. When power decreases under level L1, the low core switches on and the faster cores off. L1

power saving mode is for those who wanna save power.. and those wanna save power does not play games and cpu intensive apps.. just for calling purpose only..
have common sense..

They should put it against the LG Optimus G's Qualcomm S4 Quad-core in tests rather than the Nexus 10's exynos A15 dual-core processor to be called the fastest in the world...

i'm already the victims of t... moreNvidia make the best mobile gpu's. And this one will be bloody amazing. They were let down in cpu performance with the tegra 3 and didn't anticipate that the s4 pro + exynos 4412 were going to be that fast.
I just got a note 2, but I can't wait to get a tablet or phone with that chip in the future. Would be great in a tablet, really capable of replicating laptop power. :)

Our droids with simple emulators can now run pc and dreamcast games and now on android we have this monster while wp cannot even support it and doesn't have full hd resolution

Are we going to expect another wave of NVidia Tegra 4 "optimized" games like those Tegra 3 "optimized" games this year? (when in fact other GPUs can very well run those stupid effects). More like NVidia Tegra "monopolized" games. Curse these stupid developers. Curse these greedy NVidia Tegra chip creators. They should all die. Planet Earth doesn't need the likes of these stupid monopolizing evils. Hope this new Tegra chip burn your hands while playing as that stupid HTC One X did with my hands before I decided to sell it. Why do you feel the need to agonize other Android users to root and tweak all those games just to show all the beautiful effects? While you develop all those same games for Apple devices with those so called "Tegra effects" enabled on the go? They aren't using Tegra processors right? B$LLSH!7!!!

The higher the resolution, the more computing power it needs, the more power it needs, the bigger battery it needs, making the device thicker and extra weight.

I dont understand the need for so much power when the app and games dont need this much power to run them, bring game hardware controls on most phones and then bring more PS2 games or even PS3 games to android and we have something
@sony, scrap your PSP's and go back to making better xperia play's.
@samsung, go back to your stronger builds on your phones, S3 is poor quality!
@nokia, wtf have you done to your company. Get your self on Android!

4K for mobile is only a demonstration of power, does any one can now imagine 4K mobile display? 1080p for some 2-3 year will be dominating. Come on, lets say 4K in 5.5 inch, results a 801 ppi, who needs this? Beside, 30 min movie will take all of your memory in a device, even assuming 2015-2016 standards of 128 GB. But overall I`m very excited to see how Samsung will compete with Tegra 4 chip. Nowadays Smartphones have power for content managing in all ways possible.

i think still adreno 320 is better! mby its the weekest but counting gpu cores its more powerfull

AnonD-55425, 07 Jan 2013it's ultra hd, uhd not fhd.U is a short for Ultra. But Ultra HD mainly stands to replace Super HiVision name (or just 4320p). This name was pushed back to 2160p by PR agancies of some companies, like LG and by poorly literate journalists. So ITU just had to change standard to give that name to 2160p.
Personally I'm still giving more favor to Quad Full HD or Super HD for 2160p. As Super stands between original (or Full) and Ultra in hierarchy of resolutions and was missed in HD resolutions.
