nico, 27 Feb 2013Relax, Samsung has rolled out the update in Russia, so othe... morei agreed that other countries will follow...but the question is when...it was scheduled to be released worldwide in november, then they postponed it to December, then Mid jaunary and now the last news was that it'll finally be updated in February...and going by this trend my next guess is that they'll announce a date for the update in mid March

I really dont believe this !! its been three months waiting for the JB Update...still no news or mention of it on the samsung.in website. i have lost all hope that my phone is ever going to be updated to 4.1.2....This was my first samsung phone and was really happy with it until this debacle, now samsung has made sure its my last samsung phone

samsung doesn't agree with the performance of jelly bean with s advance at russian units the editting it to run more fast it will take some more time
finaly we must wait but we will get something good for our phones

Well, So disappointing and frankly frustrating. !st of all I bought S advance in 21st December 2012 thinking that this was a model which was quietly frankly very good in its specifications and that JB was promised and so this was one model which would be continued with good support. Which i had confirmed from Samsung Authorized dealers that it was a running model and going strong.
After i purchase it and try to find out a cover for my phone, i come to know that this model had already been discontinued in Oct 2013!!!( Again by authorized Samsung dealers)??
No news of it being discontinued On Samsungs official site.
Still i was quiet happy using this phone cos it woorks really well.
But Now even after being promised a JB update Samsung is dilly dallying and giving false promises??
Thouroughly disappointed and Disillusioned by SAMSUNG and would never advise anyone to go for SAMSUNG again.

If not then they should atleast confirm that indian s advance will never get jelly bean and they should atleast povide Ice cream sandwhich which they promised to provide at the time of selling the phone.....

No JB update till 19th feb. I think SAMSUNG is not going 2 update this model.I advise U all d users 2 change ur brand bcoz SAMSUNG is not caring for their users.

Even in wiki this line is removed "Other countries will be getting it on 18 February 2013." .......it was there yesterday...so that tells the story.
We have to wait again...that's depressing
