There's an excellent article which provides insights on what happened to Sony. Too bad I can't post links here.

If you're interested, Google search: "How Sony Is Turning into a Ghost in Japan and Around the World".

Personally, I think it's not too late to recover. They just need to understand how the Koreans are pulling this off and address the competition.

Oh o ! I didn't know how many zeroes are in a million dollar ! Mr.Moneyexpert . Gosh why i'm even replying to this clown ?
You have never been in to corporate level offices , have you ? If you've been them you wouldn't say loose comments like this, yes for these companies if they lose a single cent in their primary investments they would go mad , but its not the situation, if you just lose a thousand dollar jackpot in someone else's coin , do you care and cry for it ? These companies just spill out millions just to charity in order to save billions. You may call pesty comments here but people sitting there are equall to 100 common people like me and you.. So basically they are businessmen.. bad bad businessmen .. So zip yourself up and stop replying to whatever the comments you see and get a real life. Because trolling and commenting is not a good fulltime job option u know !

Sony should sell the Japan's HQ and sell all the domestic manufacturing sites and oversea's. Sony should remain the HQ in US but move it to California.
Sony should just focus on R&D, Marketing and outsource all the manufacturing .

not Acro , Arcos duh, The Xperia Arcos - what is up with the naming convention anyway it's like they have a dartboard with Letters and Names on it..

                                  dart 1.... hits an Xperia
                                  dart 2... hits Acro
                                  Dart 3... hits S

                                  dart 1.... hits an Xperia
                                  dart 2... hits V
                                  Dart 3... hits L

I just find them a bit funny ...

Sony, my next phone will be the Xperia Acro S, which i'm buying next week, it may not be the fastest, it's only dual core.....

but you guys put time into thinking of something different therefor you get my vote, with the xperia Z and Acro S and Go range of water proof phones, I love them!...

How many people realize in an Acro S which is a midrange dual core phone, but it comes with Glonass and GPS support and it's waterproof, do you know how bloody useful that is! ...

Sony's Xperia V, is the Swiss Army Knife, sure it might not hit the speed's a Galaxy 3 does, but SO WHAT where's the galaxy III stand or an Apple Iphone stand after it gets dropped in a puddle?!

I love the thought that's gone into protecting the phone rather than "Money Money Money, they got it wet! system they have now"

If Samsung Releases an S waterproof to 3meter Series, i'd obviously go for that, but until they start accommodating, I give Sony my full support.
