I think nobody understand what I f...ing said.
Amithsiji, I know that bing maps is using nokia navteq, maybe from the hardware perspective an Lumia 920 is better than an 8X, but I simply prefer how it looks and it feels in hand. If I don't like Nokia phones doesn't make me an Htc fan.
And maybe nokia drive is better than google maps (who has offline nav too), no argue here, but for a long while nokia drive was exclusive to nokia.
I'm liking drive+ because there is only navigon as an alternative in wp8 ecosystem. If Sygic or Igo had an wp8 version things would be different.

Nokia Drive is best among the map services provided by all manufacturers and platforms. The app is most useful in Developed countries where the streets stations etc easily located. Indian roads (Galees) are difficult compared to street in US or UK.

To the HTC Fan above: default MAP in WP the BING MAP is using NOKIA Maps!!!!

This is good news, although is not available in Romania, only for now, I hope.
I don't think that Nokia Drive is the best selling point of Lumia devices, and the navigation software is not that important in the decision of choosing a phone or not.
I've bought an HTC 8S, which I love, with no turn by tur nav. If I remember Google Maps runs on every android phone, even on apple IOS, so what's the big deal if nokia drive does the same.
Windows phone 8 still has a low number of good app and a little number of phones available for purchase, so it is a smart move made by microsoft to release Nokia Drive for the entire ecosystem.
If there were no Htc devices with wp8 I have bought an Desire X or an One S, not even considering Nokia Lumia's...

i love this nokia drive and i think it should also be given to 7.8 users but i guess thats wishful thinking but still this is the best navigation hands down. i love it so much and my next phone lumia 920 will have it anyway so this is good news for everyone they can enjoy the new nokia drive. thanks nokia we love you

Nokia's current CEO isn't the smartest one around. First prematurely burning the only selling platform they had BEFORE alternative devices were ready?

Then restricting themselves to only build WP-devices. By the time the second WP7-device came to market (Lumia 900) Microsoft calls the quits on WP7. Effectively destroying potential sales of all Lumias including the newly released Lumia 900.

Now giving away distinctive Nokia-only software to competitors, thereby giving away a major point of advantage for Lumia devices. This will definitely have an impact on sales on Lumia's (as is proven here when some readers openly wrote that would go for cheaper/smaller HTC devices instead of Lumia).

It seems Elop really want to destroy Nokia to the bone. Slicing open the neck and wrists just isn't enough for that man...

Your C6 IS a proper smartphone. With FULL multitasking, full bluetooth filetransfer (any file thanks to NORMAL filemanager) and not to forget FULL native 2-way call recording!

Hopefully navigation doesn't shut down when someone calls you (like in WP7).

                                "So, differences/enhancements/stuff?"

I hope that WP8-users finally can avoid ferries, tollbooths and sandy roads like Symbian users can.

BTW. What about the folks who bought that Lumia 900 last September or the other Lumia users who bought WP7-devices?

Which is what got them in trouble in the first place. They should stop giving away critical software which would set them appart from competitors ESPECIALLY in "ecosystems" like WP (and Android for that matter).
