I live in France but I have the V50 sprint version (now t-mobile), bought from eBay. The phone is stuck with Android 10. How can I upgrade to Android 11 or Android 12 without rooting the phone ?

The US actually got it earlier than the Indian models (which got it on January 2022)
Android 12 isn't ready for the G8X yet, will be rolling out probably in a few months if previous update track record is to go by...

You need to compared the "Mid-Current-Year" LG device, against the "Late-Last-Year" Samsung. So give LG phones a 6-month handicap to level the playfield (display and camera). It actually works out well in that case. But you gotta account for the Exynos chipset, which is 6-months behind LG's chipset in terms of performance/battery life.
For instance:
LG G6 (QSD 821, 3300mAh, 1/3.1") vs (QSD 820, 3600mAh, 1/2.55") Samsung S7+
LG V30 (QSD 835, 3300mAh, 1/3.1") vs (QSD 835, 3500mAh, 1/2.55") Samsung S8+
LG G7 (QSD 845, 3000mAh, 1/3.1") vs (QSD 835, 3000mAh, 1/2.55") Samsung S8

Both 7 Pro and 6 Pro was launched in the same year (2020) and has the same Snapdragon 720G chipset with Android 10 out of the box. So it make absolutely no sense for Realme not to seed Android 12 OS update to the 6 Pro.

Note: Android running the Linux Kernel, you cannot get guaranteed security patches for more than 2 years. That's right, even Long Term Support (LTS) Linux Kernels are not guarantee for more than 2 years, although it can be supported for up to 6 years if private companies agree to lend a hand in the open-source project.
And that's only the innermost part of the software stack.

It's annoying how they just randomly decide to leave out models just to boost sales of new models and it's pathetic.
