I want to mention one example here when hero honda was ruling the indian market and bringing no new features bajaj set the trend with digi console, nitrox ,tubeless tires and now all companies has started implementing these standards at that time it was Japanese Vs Indian(Bajaj) and now its Korean Vs Indian (MMX). Great work MMX now don't look behind bring as much similar products like this we will be delighted to watch success of an Indian company. Those who said its chinese I want to say change you spectacles number and watch closely your sony,samsung mobile boxes where you find where its made

if its a rs 15000 phone then its over priced by a company like micromax as it will still b called a chinese phone i would personally would go and buy a samsung galaxy duos of 15000 than a micromax phone of this price ok its a 5 incher with hd vedio i can understand but even if samsung deos is 4.5 inch and without hd samsung is more reliable in terms of performance,quality and after sales and in samsung duos 1 can use 2 sims at 1 time whereas in micromax a116 only 1 sim can b used at a time.and secondly in samsung gal duos both sims are 3g compatable whereas in micromax a116 only 1 sim slot is 3g and the other is 2g.
And one more thing samsung or any other branded phones like nokia etc company always provides software upgrade facility if any new software is introduced but like a company like micromax never any software upgrades are provided as their phones do not have the chip that can upgrade them.
MOREOVER any 1 has a budget of 15000 and can afford 3 or 4 thousands more i would suggest him to wait for a month and let the prices of samsung grand drop and ull get it for 17 or 18 thousand for sure.
lastly i would like to say that if micromax a116 would have been of 10000 or 11000 it would have been best to pechase and would have given a tough comp to samsung gal duos as well as samsung grand both and would have come out a clear winner.
