i hope this isnt true. iv got an s2. bro and dad gt s3. my cntrct expires in q3 so need an upgrde. i was thnkng of the note 3 nxt coz by thn it shud be out but if the rumours of s4 are correct thn note 3 is a dissapointmnt coz itll be basically s4 wth bigger screen. sammy need t pull their socks up coz the comptition is becoming fierce and thyre last on the scene. htc seem t be the first. i think i myt go for a different company ths time. maybe sony. i wdnt mnd nokia bt thyre strictly windows. and iv gt windws 8 pc and let me tell you what a ridiculously poor os that is. absolutely useless and so poorly designed that i thnk my one year old son cudav dun better.

Samsung will fk up everything with the plastic cover. HTC done good job with the aluminum body. Samsung will go down.

So, it's basically the same old cheapish plastic design. And the Note III will look almost the same, only bigger.
Sony Xperia Z or Motorola X(hopefully) it is, if you want more solid build quality.

I really hope they do drop the damn super amoled screen. On my S3 the colours are awful - over saturated and terrible colour clipping. Go lcd sammy - i may choose you over HTC in that case..

I would go for Xperia Z and get water resistance and all premium materials instead of Snapdragon 600(which uses the same Adreno 320 from last year and not perform better than S4 Pro in Xperia Z) and Samsung's design.
Now Apple would be laughing at Samsung because their iPhone 5S and Apple A7 will mop the floor with Sammy S4.

It doesnt mean it has a pen because its heavier. Sure Samsung do the Galaxy Notes with the pen. The S series is different target market
