Like everyone else, the plastic on the galaxy s3 is polycarbonate & not just any ordinary plastic.
I've used my s3 for a while now & it still looks pretty neat. The plastic can really hide scratches well.
You'll have to bend the phone against the light to see the hard scratches & looking @ the phone directly u won't see any.
However no matter what material your phone comes in, I suggest u get a phone casing as the inevitable can happen.

i dont nid a metal body dat has ntn to offer... Prefer a plastic body wit removeable ba3 a mirco sd slot nd a subarb software nd hardware dats why i love sammy

Some latest rumors that the camera will have 15MP instead 13MP. The screen size is 5.15" to 5.25" instead 4.99". The processor is OCTA-Core for sure!
The battery is 2600mAh.

If its build quality is better, and it doesn't use AMOLED then it'll be worth looking at.
Right now, colour me unimpressed like last year.
Smartphones are too similar these days to create a 'WOW' factor.
Might as well stick with your S2 folks.

Come on Galaxy s4! I'm waiting for you as I have been for s1, s2, s3, note1, note2. You will be my sixth Galaxy phone and as always you will be the best phone out there I have no doubt about that!!!
