Seriously Google?
The Razr Maxx is still one of the best phones out.

Motorola basically brought android to the mainstream with the Droid line.

The Raxr maxx still is unchallenged by any other android oem as far as battery life and stability.

As long as the X phone has a memory card slot on it, it'll be great.

Motorola has always had good designs and hardware.

Imran, 01 Mar 2013Google should consider Samsung for there next Nexus DeviseThat's exactly what they DON'T want to do. In fact the Motorola purchase was to counter Samsung, as Samsung is beginning to look like a brand of its own at Androids expense.

Google's boss even called Samsung a threat in a closed door meeting:

From engineering point of view Moto phones are excellent. It was first to bring water resistant phone, first to bring thin phone with large batteries.

It was unprofessional management that killed the company.

Anonymous, 01 Mar 2013well yeah.. Moto was available before in asia and europe. B... morePeople need to get facts straight the first razr sold 130 million and is the most popular clamshell phone ever made and it is estimated over a million are still in existence now nearly 9 years after launch. Ive never owned a razr v3 but sold an awful lot of them in my career. Have a razr i as my second handset and has given me a lot less trouble than about 90% of the other phones out there. Just annoys me on the comments section of this website where people on this site start making unjustified comments or stating that a phone didnt sell well when it was one of the most popular phones of all time, just laughable.

I think it would be better if Google Uses IPHONE for the next nexus device. mentioned that a (water-proof nexus Iphone) WITH A 4 INCH display and a good battery will be the best choice.
          HA HA HA HA H....

            Surprising comments....!!!

I still think Motorola handsets are very good as compared to their close compititors, Samsung, LG, Sony...!!!

I am using Photon 4G for last two years and I am happy with it.

The Xphone is real and will come to "change the game" for sure.

Samsung, Sony, LG, HTC would not be able to much Motorola any more after the X phone show off.

But that might change with the Google X Phone, an extraordinary device
expected to arrive at Google I/O in mid-May sporting high-end specs and
running Google’s future Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie without actually being
              a Nexus device.

The X Phone has been spotted in various rumors and leaks so far,
without being actually confirmed, but this time around WSJ does mention
              it:

Meanwhile, Google’s Motorola has been developing what it calls the X
Phone to compete with Apple’s iPhone and Samsung’s Galaxy S devices,
people with knowledge of the initiative have said.

google....should only considered HTC for their next Nexus...HTC has alwayz proven the best build quality ...& google can mould that into the ultimate Nexus device.

Not exactly a miracle, Moto been mismanaged for ages. Remember where Hector Ruiz came from before he drove AMD into disaster, to make the downfall fast he recruited a lot of his Moto friends (managers at Moto) and hired them as managers to help milk AMD for money and to make teh mismanagement complete. Thats the Motorola business culture, useless people doing useless things.

Personally I would say Motorola phones are much better compared to Samsung. They bring some uniqueness to each device.
