HTC One might get delayed due to components shortage

Putting 4MP camera in HTC flagship smartphone such as HTC ONE is a suicide game.
Associated HTC flagship smartphone with overpriced but underperforming brand like BEATS electronic is a really bad marketing strategy.
HTC just like Sony is trying to be Apple and sell their products at over price. But the problem HTC is not Apple that has its own OS and eco system.
There are many makers out there who can offer better and cheaper smartphone such as Samsung and LG.
In short, HTC has lost its business direction and yet failed to meet users' high expectations in today's smartphone requirement.

Dear god you must be stuck in 2010 these so called "... moreRubbish its bloody 2013 and fixed storage and non removeable battery are a joke..Same as Nexus 4 16gb maxinmum in Googles flagship product when that was the norm in 2007...Who wants to round with usb otg when its a converged flagship smartfone in 2013 are we going backwards??? Dont get me started on cloud storage where you need a fast always on data connection for it to be usefull in any way..64gb are now 39GBP at Amazon and any company will buy in bulk making it even cheaper..As for only 16gb in some fones at least you can expand that with another 64gb for few quid..
This is 2013 and smartfones should be having 128GB storage hahaha 16GB tops in Nexus 4 is sodding embarrassment.

800k to 1200k is what they will sell during the life of this device, then they are good.
What are they expecting? Sell 70 millions?
it's HTC after all (bad camera, poor battery and bad sound quality even with that big beats audio that they add!

Oh, that's okay. HTC will have a better "flagship" out in 2 months anyhow. Two months after that - another "flagship." None of them will have the same name.

Dear god you must be stuck in 2010 these so called "basics"you talk about are no longer necessary, you are part of a of a group that just can't and probably won't adapt to 'change' - and get a real good kick out just having a great big winge. You guys are like indirect trollers.
Lets have a look at how you can make do without your "basics"
- the phone storage is at a generous 32gb as a minimum and the option to go to 64gb compared to the standard 16gb with other phones -- still need more? HTC give a generous amount of dropbox space -- still need more? Use usb otg a far superior form accessible storage where there's more flexibility to transfer data--- I think all this more than solves that "basic" issue.
-non removable battery-- you do realise that the HTC droid DNA beat the Xperia Z in gsmarenas battery test and that only had a 2020mah battery, this thing has 2300mah-- you a power hungry user? - perhaps you should invest in a powerbank battery, you are considering a phone worth £519 so its only right to assume you can afford such an accessory --still bothered about power? Micro usb is a standard that's almost everywhere , there's always a possibility to top up your battery
With all these "basics" solved its only safe to say that you are a fanboy of some sort or a troller or just somebody stuck in the past that just doesn't know how to adapt with today's fast paced mobile industry.

So this is why the xperia Z has won the early war.
One wont sell much because it came second and by the time it will be available, Galaxy S4 will be too...
So HTC opted to add latest hardware to compete with the Z specs and that risk led to a delay and by the time they come back, the S4 will be their final nail...
