Some Sony Xperia Z handsets reportedly suffering sudden death

Sony has acknowledged the issue and promises to fix the problem with an upcoming software update.

In these days sony is very much notorius about their software, even alot of issues in Xperia P & U. after software update (4.04) camera, bluetooth and alot of other applications stopped working.

    maybe sony xperia z is so afraid to dip into the waters, so the phone initiated a self destruct, oh i mean sudden death.

      hav had it for a week or more, the battery seems quite decent given the display and it's brightness. The network on the other hand,especially data, keeps going off and on, and sometimes requires the phone to be re-started..

        Xperia Z just got Samsunged! LOL.

        SIII units affected with the SDS...with the so called fix still got SDSed!

        Boo hoo...wait for the new production line of the Zs...the fix wont do you good.

          Well I'm using this phone from last 3 weeks. SODs are happening frequently, but the phone is awesome.

                    wen will android be as stable as IOS!!!!!

                      They might have spend too much time in water.....cause of sudden death. Now they are water resistant paper weights.

                              its a serious issue, sony should solve it or replace the handsets straight away.
