Bravo they outsell blackberry! They are competing with something that's not available. On the other news samsung gained 3%. But wait they didnt put the sales record of sony the top gainer of first quarter.

Due to high cost, Z10 & to be launched Q10 is out of reach of average customers from emerging markets. The current prices of both BB10 handsets are at par with iPhone 5, which obviously, average customer from emerging market can't afford.
Even though Windows 8 is new OS, due to launching low cost handsets in emerging markets, Nokia is slowly capturing the market.

nokia cheap feature phone still holding a large market, so if you are compare any android manufacture beside samsung, and china brand. i don't think they are ship more devices than nokia (smartphone + feature phone)

Plus they should not rely on nokia, many people dont like nokia cause of how it was in past with copying others and selling basically same phone each year just for higher price with slightly different design or how it neglected updates for certain models despite controling os they used.
I mean current lumia phones and n9 copied design of several years older phone sony ericsson aino.

I was a Windows phone user.. I knew from the beginning that WP will not reach on top because of OS limits.. But you must give points to the OS stability and smoothness.. Microsoft promised very less features on this platform and OS does the job without any lag or crashing.. I used it for 15 months, i hardly had issues.. As far as I can tell my phone rebooted 4-5 times due some network issues in those 15 months. Very stable and neat OS.. Very few basic features are missing in wp so I had to switch to android and this piece of sh*t crashes freezes all the time!! I hope Microsoft fixes/adds those missing features and I wil get back WP's..

I used for a while Android (Samsung S3) and for me is the worst and uglyest OS. I own my second iPhone and I'm very, very satisfied. I was only play with WP (phones owned by my friends) and I have to admit that WP interface is more beautiful than iOS. I can't tell you if it's better (I guess not), but definetely is the most beautiful OS sistem / interface.
