is everyone who comments about anything gamareana posts over the age of 6 years old as there are few to suggest otherwise!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so if you have an iphone get over your immaturities and go buy a grown ups phone from any of the superb Android range and the you'll be in the i'm a real MAN/WOMEN club and not the whining baby ios kinder garden in need of a diaper change. go on you now deep down inside you really want that samsung 4S and to be a MAN and not a iphone 5s with that next diaper change

Its funny with Chinese consumer rights laws, most of their own products are not even working correctly when brand new. Chinese cars are still of so low quality that they are not sold in Europe, and in Russia people were furious of the terrible quality, like the Russian cars was not bad enough, the chinese cars made Lada seem like a Rolls Royce.
Some years ago you could buy Chinese cellphones over the counter in Nordic countries, and also Chinese motorcycles, but they were all removed from the market, the importers and dealers could not afford to sell so bad quality products in those countries with the worlds strongest consumer rights. Here in philippines however, some chinese brands managed to get big enough to sell well and at a high price, the market for cheap phones is so much bigger here, some of those noname brands even set up a lot of service centers around the country. One example of this is the rebadge brand MyPhone, they somehow managed to fool people into thinking its actually a Philippine brand. Another example of china phones with their own service centers is Chery, or was it Cherry. Terrible quality but they survived on higher prices and by offering service and warranty. (ZTE, Lenovo and Huawei are not really rebadge brands so they are irrelevant here)

It's funny cause you wouldn't expect that china's products have such high standards on their warranty policy...I wan't to see a chinesse product that holds for a year.

If the problem is so bad that all components needs to be replaced, why not do that an replace even the back side.
I'm not living in china, and have no experience with the cheap android phones you mention.
But it the problem is so bad that a company needs to replace a unit, I see no reason to why they would keep the part containing S/N, IMEI, and so on, just to make it seem that the consumer still has the same product in their hands, as they bought.
I've seen other companies but consumers outer case on products, when the internals are changed. I dont like that behaviour either, but at least then, the S/N and IMEI has been changes, as those have not been on the outer shell of those phones.
