Even samsung/HTC/Sony fans are just posting their stupid comments in LG update threads.
Haters gonna hate, LG will release G2 and nexus 5 in 2013. Coz google know which is the best phone and they will give nexus manufacturing to the best OEM.
Sammyboys just be happy seeing samsung vs apple .

People who own LG phone are here to read about JB updates and are not LG fanatics, it is just the phone for god sake, but Samsung fanatics are everywhere.

I owned US version of Galaxy S3 that is a dual core and that was the worst phone I ever had beside the Samsung Exhibit II. Does Skype works for you, did it ever work on S3 normally? Does it happen on your S3 that screen doesn't turn off as some application hangs the phone? Can you send txt message longer than 3 standard txt messages and that it is not converted automatically to MMS and there is no option to change that? Can you save MMS photos that you get or even zoom them so that they are not filling 1/4 of the screen that is by default? Of course you can install some other txt apps, and if you are root you can uninstall stock txt app, but guess what, you phone won't be able to receive messages anymore so you need to have 2 txt app and whenever you get message it is like getting 2 at the same time. Stock email client on S3 is a piece of shit in comparison to the LG stock email. What about battery life, did you need to buy extended battery?
When you did update to JB on you S3 did you try WiFi tethering to release that it doesn't work anymore, no matter what app you are using, root or not root? Actually after update to JB many such application don't work and not the opposite.
S3 has great hardware no doubt, but software makes the phone and Samsung killed it with their UI. LG 4X is not as strong in hardware as S3, but what it offers just work fine and finally I don't need to install custom rom to make the phone usable as the case with Samsung. I do miss some features that I had on S3, but overall 4X

The brand itself means everything. Till today, the samsung is leading and all the other companies suck. I agree that iPhone is still a good company which releases the phone every year or 2 years because they work allot!! but let me also inform you that samsung works more hard and fast and they're always confident in the release which is the reason they release the phones faster. The thing about software and hardware, let me remind you my friend, Samsung is best in hardware and software. We always get to see some new exciting things when a new update is there, why to go for a custom rom? Samsung manages with all the things we need in a smartphone and the very good example is S4. S4 today is the best phone according to me which is best in everything, I myself use S2 and i did not have any problems till now. I'm really happy with the S2 and soon will have S4. But i will never prefer any other brand than samsung.

The reason why every 3rd person owns some Galaxy variant is because of advertisement and fame that is spread around. How many of those people actually owned any other android than Samsung? Every person I know that has Samsung has tons of problems and are forced to put custom roms in a try to make it work! Why anybody wants to put a custom rom if phone works in the first place, except phone geeks? Samsung is releasing every couple of days a new phone aka Galaxy, neutron, Sun, Mars and such bullshits. Do you really think that company that makes new phone every couple of days can test them extensively? When they released their S3 it was not ready, but they didn't care as market wants it anyway, like the fame with iphone. Yes Samsung has the best hardware in their flagship phones, but it not about the hardware it is about the software!!!!
You would be surprised how LG phones are well made and stable if you take of the Samsung drugs.

People agree that From Samsung, HTC, LG and iPhone...Saumsung is always releasing new phones very sooner and with cool features. Just the time Galaxy launched, Samsung galaxy 1, Samsung galaxy 2, S3, S4..All are still rocking with Android. And the fact is Samsung owns the mobile world with galaxy phones, Every third person will have a Samsung phone. I love Samsung phones and it's the best.

I did a manual update using EU version. No new features, no UI change but the improvements are incredible in terms of speed everythings seems butter smooth compared to ICS.

Don't know what you guys are complaining about. I have an unlocked Galaxy S2 and only received JB update 22March and it's a bit flaky. Some things are better than ICS but there are issues with some of the apps I already had installed

The S3 works just fine and the updates allow you to use later technology as some apps are compatible with JB and not ICS so please learn about what you say before trolling...
