i didn't... moreI'm not mad on LG since there is no reason for, as why do you need an update if everything works fine??? Update would be nice, but it isn't that necessary.
Just to remind you that no matter how many updates Samsung makes out for their shit*y Galaxy series their phone just don't work!!! Apps crashing, strange behaviour... I have couple of Samsung phones and then got the Galaxy S3 in the hope that that phone must work, but that is just piece of sh*t that made fame around the world as iphone made that is the best phone but it is just advertisement. In order to make it work I had to try 10 different custom roms, until I bricked it.
LG phones just work! They may not be on pair with hardware with Samsungl flagship phones, but they just work no matter what you try to run on them.

i also received jb update for my new optimus g just recently...
lg is the best for me im very happy and satisfied with my lg optimus g.

No Qslide, no changes on the lockscreen etc (search the video on youtube and read about from people from XDA forum)
So disappointed if we compare it with LG L9's Jelly bean and the others like: VU 2 and LG LTE2(Korea).
I hope this update is not "Final" and quickly updated again (I hope so)
After the long waited and so much expectation, we(optimus 4x users) got no LG new features :(

LOL LG rolls out jelly bean now...strange thing when will it launch in India LOLS :)) because same goes for Samsung galaxy S2, rumors were that update of JB will come in Feb end then March end and after 2 months it came finally in India in the 1st week of April. Wierd, even samsung is working safe...I wish they could have launched it early like in other countries.

i didn't know they used to take so long to update, i also saw a comment about this:
having an LG phone is like having an alienware computer running windows vista, the hardware is good, the shape is nice, but the software is usually outdated making the phone useless for the passionate user

but LG firmwares doesn't gets bricked doing restart or factory reset... unlike S______g.
waiting for a stable release isn't a bad thing.

I hope VU will get it soon... it has the same specs as the 4X HD... but i can wait i'm not an EXCITED FOR UPDATES like other people

I couldn't download OTA update here in the use, but I have downloaded Europe open version and flash the phone via LG software. Improvements are incredible!! Everything works now snap fast, and icons and panels looks much much more nicer although they were also nice before.
I have 30% increase in Antutu and 50% increase in Quadrant benchmark.
Some WebGL applets that I tried run on 4.0.4 were slow as slideshow, but now as so smooth that it seems that improvements in webgl speed are ~5X. Finall we are getting full power of Nvidia Tegra 3 GPU

Here in Portugal (Vodafone) LG already released the Android 4.1.2. Now this phone is great. Camera issues fixed and some improvements at many levels.

4X users all over the world. Relax...calm the Fu#&k down. We have been waiting for 10 months or so. So be patient and Wait a few more days. You will get your update over The Air for those who have international unlock versions. Those who got it via carriers contac your respective carriers to check availability. LG is putting the software in theyre servers it will take a few days or weeks to get distributed but it will. So relax & be patient.

Xperia S, Acro S, Ion and SL are still waiting 4.1.2 Jelly Bean (not 4.2).

You must be living underground. Except S2, S3, Note and of course Nexus what other phones officially received 4.1. Razr I think and I'm struggle to think of some other phone

Not available in the UK yet (05 April 2013), not available Over the-air (OTA) or through LG Mobile support tool. Come on LG!!
