Actually most of the chipsets at that price point already capable enough to do multitasking pretty smooth. Even if we're talking about gaming, you actually don't need the latest 8 Gen 2 to run heavy games like Genshin smoothly. Even 870 or even some Snapdragon 7-series should be enough for it. The problem is, this Exynos 2200 has a termal issue, makes it not really efficient for daily use. It's not really good if your phone doesn't lasts a day on an average usage.
But yeah, about the fact that their marketing is strong, I can't agree more.

also is it really true they have the same camera as s23? s22 and s23 has the same cameras btw the wide one

It is the first time when A series model receive the high end main camera of S series from the same year. A54 is very advanced as midrange. The biggest fail of A54 is the absence of 4K 60 fps shooting on main and front camera. S23 FE with Exynos 2200 will be practically A54 with 4K 60 fps shooting on main and selfie cameras and a third camera for 3x optical zoom. The 4K 60 fps shooting and the 3x optical zoom are always the big two functions wich make the difference between a midrange and a high end phone.

Samsung should ditch Exynos 2200 and add Snapdragon 7+ gen 2 in s23 FE and that would be instant hit among gamers. This battery hogging Exynos gave problems in the last series.

I think I probably go with S22 plus, now it cost around about 605 dollars flat without any bank offer in india.

No way I'm gonna be convinced by the "FE" moniker when the A54 has all the perks it offers at a lesser price.

Samsung is making a big mistake with this phone. I'm using an S21FE now, but definitely won't be buying an S23FE. This phone is more A54 than S23.

Unbelievable.
Exynos 2200 also a dealbreaker.
Well Samsung once again made a telephone history.
They make S23FE skipped S22FE to make an edition which will easily F like forget, F like Forbid and F line never Forgive.
This is definitely unforgivable Edition of S23FE.
Maybe if they add up to 399 eur price it could be a win wi for someone but honestly i bet it will cost maybe 50 or 100 less from brand new S23 model so its DOA.
Rather will buy Nothing phone 2 for example. Better specs, price and no bloatware inside plus nice 100 in accesories.

I find it funny how literally everyone in the comments loses their s*** whenever the word 'Exynos' is muttered, even on articles that don't focus on the chip.
I mean, yeah. Exynos isn't amazing, I get that. I just find it funny how everyone goes insane even when the chip is at least okay.
I do agree that a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 probably would've been the better choice though.

It comes all down to the price. If the price is right people will still buy this phone no matter what chip is used. Average consumer don't really care about benchmarks. The galaxy brand is quite strong in terms of marketing. Especially the S line. People in store will see the S23 FE next to the regular S23 and 23+ with similar design but with a much lower price.
