How can they post profit if the HTC ONE is nowhere to be found? Everyone else have chosen to buy Xperia Z or S4 coz they couldn't even bring the units in the market. too bad.

Don't focus sales ONLY on flagships. There is a wide market for lower and mid-range smartphones, especially feature phones or what they call "dumbphones". And we meant low price tags too! You're not Apple y'know!

I wanna by HTC One but WTF where is that one 4 month finish still not available in market.... After few year you guys have to close your company..

Bring the HTC one to India, Put a competitive price, things will turn around.
And again if HTC tries cheap tactics like putting a downgraded processor or lesser memory and other nonsense, then they will see it in their falling fate.!

Anonymous, 02 May 2013now why would people buy htc phones? the company is going d... moreLets set a few things straight firstly even if HTC went out of business the support of the phones produced is mostly down to the carrier . Secondly HTC have always made good phones and the One shows how they have raised the bar to the point that it has spooked Samsung ( Currently being investigated for placing fake reviews on the HTC one ) I have no doubt that Q2 profits will show a marked improvment but it would not hurt HTC's cause to actually market themselves in a more intelligent fashion . They have a range of great products both for Android and Windows Phone . Work on the marketing and support and all will be well . Ignore it and you can produce as technically advanced a phone as you wish it will still be ignored by the masses.

Htc you have great smart phones but why lack of un available mostly in Asia & why battery is not focused & prices are also high some times as compared others brands....

hopefully their flagship HTC One will make a difference and change all that. If only the company would use better marketing techniques, then perhaps they stood a chance.

htc phone are not available in Indian market... their flagship device htc one can only be seen online
they never go for marketing, I've never seen an advertisement of htc on tv.....
as a result of this, sales will definitely go down

htc need to have sd card slot and removable battery on their phones.having a very good phone without these options means htc will fail to retain and gain new customers.
i had previously bought 2 htc phones both had sd card slot and removable battery but now i have moved to samsung.
