STOP THIS ANDROID NONSENSE !!! android market is mega full. cheap models from zte and huawei are making hard times for great brands with android os like sony, motorola, htc,lg. motorola is owned by google and is ill, almost dead, even nokia is much above!!! android is far to be a guarantee that nokia will rise again. all the sheeps around the world already know only iphone and samsung. they do not even try to ask about anything else. windows mobile will be smarter and smarter. skydrive already is better than icloud, windows 8 mobiles have microsoft office and maps offline. wait windows blue and one more year to let windows ecosystem to grow. already windows 8 tablets (not rt) are number one choice because they can do anything like a laptop or desktop with old xp or vista, all programs are compatible, no app store with expansive stupid apps. windows 8 tablets will kill ipads and android stupid tablets

Don't forget Sony, HTC, Motrolla, LG also are android brands. Are they really that much successful with Android? What guarantee you have that Nokia will have a bright future with Android when one can clearly see Nokia's bright future with WP as it's market shares are increasing in a bit slow ratio?

Android and Samsung have corrupted minds of people. They think higher specs are innovation and customization is everything.

Hmm, 07 May 2013innovation innovation innovation get a life man its a phone... moreNot if you actually want to be in a position to compete in the market place for a Smart phone. We are not talking a low end feature phone here. Actually making and receiving calls now is only part of it now. It is about the whole eco-system now. That's is what Apple ,love them or hate them, got right with the iPhone hence why they are doing so well. A phone that cannot do music, camera or games well is not going to sell.

Why will Nokia increase it's inside hardware when the current things are already running smooth on its current hardware i.e 512, 1 GB or RAM and just on dual core? Answer me that, Its a simple question.

BTW, nice to know you think "Increase hardware" is innovation.. Defines a lot about your thoughts.

I think I must have missed something here. The hardware specs. of this device are best about a year "behind the curve". How is this innovation? If Nokia want to win with an O/S that is doing very badly, at present and quite possibly for a long time to come, they need hardware that can take on the best to even stand a chance and this isn't it. Why would I pay top price for a device that is essentially on old hardware with O/S that has very poor sales and compared to an equivalent Android phone far less customisable.

advice, 07 May 2013so still no android ,this means more market suffering .First they need to make sure they are strong enough to take on Samsung plus other Android OEMS, only when they are confident that yes, even if Nokia+Android fails they have something to fall upon.

Currently they have very limited cash flow and resources. Lumia series are taking off but its a bit slow, Asha series and dumbphones dept can handle some pressure, but for Nokia currently some is not enough.

I personally wish though Nokia should not go with Android, I will hate them to see as just another Android OEM, there are already many. But I guess users want the collaboration to happen and Nokia might just will give into it. But still for this a year or two will pass by.

                                      M, 07 May 2013havnt they gone yet?No.
