The trend is now also evident on Google products and on Twitch. They fill you with advertising and then offer paid solutions.

From 2024 or 2025 more countries will pay.
Before 2030 even poor african countries where people barely live from what they eran will have to pay.
Everything this is nothing but a greed.
Greed is a sin and those who are sinners will pay dearly for causing it and spread it like a plague.

            LoL.
So hands up anyone who is willing to pay 12,90 and from march 2024 20 euros for a facebook without ads if until now we used it anyway just we ignore said ads.
            LoL

NO socnet that exists rn is worth EUR9.99/month... NONE. And reality is, never will. Paying that much for far better FOSS projects like Linux and open hardware laptops and phones are much more worthwhile long term.

The only problem is that is should be a ONE TIME fee (even if it’s more expensive), instead of ripping off customers every single month for the „privilege“ of not using their personal information for marketing purposes.

                        I am never going back
Although I may miss out many features ( which is of barely any use), it's worth the sacrifice

[deleted post]I hate their automod. It's too strict and you have no idea what bad word you used to trigger it.

The only problem with "paying for ad free" on social media is, you're not getting rid of the real ads. The "fun" meme groups and accounts that always end up being nothing but directed advertisement and to>

Anonymous, 30 Oct 2023Told ya. Other Silicon Valley companies gonna copy Elon Mus... moreYoutube as of now is totally unusable for me. I cant watch a video cause i have adblock. Then i pause the adblock and refresh the page and then it takes like 3-4 minutes of blank page to reload the page and start with the ad. Then 5 minutes in a video of 10 minutes is already second ad. Never mind that the uploaders also have ads in there video where they try to sell you some E-Shop trash.

Just yesterday i watched one video where first was the ad then video started on a talk of the user advertising his live shows and then got to talk about video title for 30 seconds and then there was they youtube ad and after that the users spon so red ad. So first 5 minutes basically was only ads.

No thanks. I would rather uninstall the app. I use messenger only anyway

These are the companies that actually deserve the sanctions.

Use friendly app for insta, fb, youtube, twitter/x..... enjoy ad free experience ;)
