The only way I'd ever even consider paying that would be with the guarantee that not only ZERO data would be collected but also that Instagram's retarded bots would be turned OFF, thus ending all the ridiculous censorship on the platform.

This is highway robbery. I'm pretty sure the EU will want to tighten the rules to prevent Facebook & Friends from basically blackmailing users into either paying exorbitant amounts or having their privacy violated.

Still better than X's nightmarish subscription.

Pay $1 every month (not one-time) just to create posts and post opinions. Outright stupid.

I don't get Farcebroke ads as I view the FB web page using an ad-blocking browser such as Brave or Firefox.

Soon we will have to pay again to use WhatsApp, save this comment

Berserker, 30 Oct 2023Polute the water than ask the people for money to clean it.No more easy (zero interest money). Loss leader business model is probably no longer attractive to investors and they wanna see profits now.
Too bad Youtube cornered the streaming market. There's no close alternative.

Told ya. Other Silicon Valley companies gonna copy Elon Musk. Now, wait for youtube as they kept fighting adblock users for many weeks now.
