JOLLA is an Os. It's Ok. But which mobile company is going to release phones with this Os?
I'll definetly buy a phone with JOLLA Os if Nokia releases. Though it never happens. Because the JOLLA founders are the one who once were thrown away from the nest of Nokia. But shall never go for Windows! Stephen Elope, get ready to get the flop show of Windows!
=> I doubt this Os is going to face a lot of '' PATENT RIGHTS '' sues! Eagerly waiting to see how it is going to face them! What do you say guys?

It's very difficult to a such small company to compete against the 3 giants: Google, Apple and Microsoft in terms of hardware and software. So, it could be a good idea to port this OS to others OEM like HTC and others, of course not Samsung because of their Tizen.

I am really eager to know whether this phone is gonna have a future or not.. I mean Nokia first rolled out it's MeeGo Harmattan flagship, the N9 which was promised to bring about a change in the users' experience but then, the OS died with the phone itself. And now again, Nokia is keeping the new MeeGo Sailfish experiment up on a pedestal being called the Jolla. This one is promised to show support for android but obviously, there ought to exist a difference between the real Android and the OS just using the Android Virtual Machine over it. The question is, will this be a flagship? Can this be the device people risk their money for? Unlike the era of N9, Nokia must have a special developing unit for the Sailfist to sail across the widespread ocean of world renownd and famous smartphone apps and the users thirsty for it.
Good luck to Nokia and to the users who are ready to take a step to sail in the Sailfish..

This Jolla phone seems to be a spiritual successor to the Nokia Lauta, a Meego prototype that was never released. It is a two-tone phone too!

Interested because the native apps runs without VM, but I would suggest that Jolla doesn't make hardware, simply make Sailfish for existing Android flagships. Charge only for premium support. Hence, less risky for this startup.
