I am very impressed with this phone. It is a true gaming phone. The thermals are good. The touch sensitivity is awesome... 720hz. 165+ Refresh. The balance of the phone is perfect. The camera is awesome. I am getting this. Better than any flagship for gaming. It's a real beast. It's more powerful in multicore combined than the A17. I am seriously impressed. I am buying it. And I will thrash any of you at PUBG.. I anytime...

I am buying this next month. When it arrives. I had a Red Magic before. Currently using a Redmi K50G... Been waiting for the RoG. And after watching the release yesterday... And reading the tech involved. I am sold. Well done Asus.

My only hope is that they release the 8D variant with Dimensity 9300 and have the aero active portal. They said it themselves, they aero active portal was co develop with mideatek for the 6D Ultimate. 7 series somehow have SD with it but probably because dimensity 9200 is not as good as sd8gen2. So they skipped 7D series. No im hoping for 8D Ultimate with same camera and everything as 8 series except IP68 as it would be nearly impossible to do so with moving part.

The only phone will have worse camera setup are usually flaship killer not flaship. And they come at a lower price point. This phone offer all standard flagship have with 165hz fhd+ dislpay. Aside from that and the trigger, theres no point for it. The aero active portal were a good invention for a gaming phone. It is a feature you would want in a gaming phone. Im not saying that it not good of getting upgrade in the IP rating and camera. But they did that by taking away aero active portal and 500mah battery. At the price of Rog you should be getting all that. Ip68 shouldnt be the the point either. It a gaming phone, youre not gonna be able to play in a downpour or playing over 30min inside a pool. Which is why you better get a flagship killer sd8gen3 if you wanna game on over this. Slap a cooler and you get a nearly identical performance at almost half the price.

I think it's official. This is the Zenfone 11. Zenfone, as rumored, is dead, and Asus is converging the product using ROG as the flagship brand.

So now it's just a regular flagship, at an insanely high price, with a gaming phone design. This phone most likely has the best camera setup of any gaming phone, but I don't think that's the most important in this segment, Red Magic is better for gaming overall at this point.

You plan on keeping your phone for 7 yrs?
Example the iPhone X is 7yrs old this coming April ... do you know how SLOWthat OSwould work today, including the browser even across simplistic websites and how hot that SoC would run just trying to keep up with modern code?! You'd have to replace that battery roughly 3x to keep it working.

Once the battery is 6000mah or higher they just go.... Meh it's big enough we don't have to optimise anything
