Most people buy phones on contract its cheaper than shed 1000+ bucks from pockets.
Said contract is 2-3 years then they usually gets new phone and sells old phone.
7 years of updates??? Most phones gets bricked by that time and even if they dont get bricked hardware will not keep that long with software.
And like with every phone manufacturer they gives you only 1-2 years of warranty not more.
Having 7 years of updates will start to be interesting if they gives you 7 years of warranty as well.
Othervise its aint big deal to be honest.

                    If non-Pro will be a giant shovel again that would be a huge failure for Huawei. They are losing huge client base to Galaxy S24 and Xiaomi 14.
