I know the pixel 7 series had the same issues aswell (my friend has pixel 7).Same issues i had with my 6 pro, seems to be joint issues with samsung but it makes sense, its a samsung SoC (just a slightly worse variant of a gen old flagship exynos SoC).
Did it have the random double tap the back to screenshot feature that does whatever it wants still or is that fixed and is it still overclocking all the cores all the time which is why it overheats badly (what my old device did, some reason had cores running over 2ghz doing nothing). Also does it still overheat instantly like taking videos and over bokeh all pictures?

A paid promo nnothing else othervise an underpowe... moreYeah, it makes no logical sense (like pixel 8 and 8 pro will be good devices but to even make the top 5 of last year, no the probably barely make the top 10).
Again it was this with the pixel 6 series, my old 6 pro was made out to be some actual monster and was almost untouchable when the reality is its one of the worst android devices ive ever used.
Unfortunately its more and more "you rub my back ill rub yours" sort of situation in many markets now, whoever has the highest numbers in any type of category will win, so apple, samsung and google because they have enough people in high places in their pockets, they essentially run the UK phone market at this point lol.

A paid promo nnothing else othervise an underpowered so called flagship with below average specs could never wins a best phone of the MWC.
many else flagships had many else better specs with all neccesary accesories in the box.
Google will likely have no chance because Tensor chips are equal to a 2 year generations back of snapdragon chipsets.

vodny, 01 Mar 2024I own Pixel 6a for last couple of months and it's such... moreGreat phone, I've had it since August last year and I've had no problems with it except the fingerprint which after a few updates works perfectly, photos are great, charging is a bit slow though and there's some overheating.
I'm saving for the Pixel 8,which has quite good upgrades over the 6A like the 120Hz display, faster charging,also the Tensor G3 is more energy efficient.

Basically this article should read "samsung, google and a.i. Win everything like usual". I mean lets be honest, that's what theyve won things for, just overmarket A.I. And make a good device, you'll win it (plus lets be honest again, samsung are essentially running android with google so it is hilarious but not that suprising when you think of it).
Was like when the pixel 6 pro was classed as one of the best phones and camera phones of 2021 when i owned it and it just wasn't. My current find x5 is more google than my old pixel except it works better and lets me have more freedom with my device. My huawei p40 pro from the start of 2020 took better pictures and had more features and ran as smooth with a lower refresh rate screen than it too, not even close to being a top 20 phone (pixel 6 pro).

I own Pixel 6a for last couple of months and it's such a joy to use this phone on a daily basis. The best thing is the super smooth user experience with zero lag. Battery life is also quite impressive. I also like the shape and size of the phone. I will stick to Pixels in the future as they feel like the best Android experience.

What I felt with my Pixel 8 pro is, it won't beat other flagships on paper, but the user experience makes the difference, I was too skeptic about the battery, but what I have seen is strangely my SoT improved over the time, probably it learns you behaviour and makes some adjustments over the time.

What, 29 Feb 2024Dimensity 9300 is clearly a more innovative product than 8g... moreexactly my thought . my only explanation i can come up with is that dimensity is from "MediaTek" and the oven snapdragon 8 gen 3 is from "QUALCOMM" .
