Dimensity 9300 is clearly a more innovative product than 8g3. So I wonder Qualcomm managed to snag this one

The tab s9 and pixel 8 won, actually made me laugh in real seeing this 😂😂. Actually solidifies how the tech and mobile market is going and how biased it really is. 8g3 chip winning an award too, i like qualcomm and think they make great chips but they arent close to being the best tech or most advanced, joke of an event and joke judges lol.

If you're in Europe, Asia, South America, Africa? Forget it:
no call screen, no inline grammar checking, weaker voice typing, no web page summaries, no video boost, no Bard, questionable 5G support, no magic compose nor contextual replies

Pixel 8?
Rainbow banding display where you cannot tell if it's white, pink, or green. Mediocre battery life, even worse charging time. In house chipset that's underperforming compared to the competition. Last, but definitely not least, the least polished, most bug perplexed version of Android I have ever used. Gave up on it after a month, went back to my S23.

David 040882, 29 Feb 2024It's not all about software, you know. In terms of har... more8G2 beats Tensor G3 in AnTuTu 10 and GeekBench 6. Tensor G3 is still fast enough but in raw speed, SnapDragon and Dimensity do better. So far, only chinese OEMS uses D9300.

The "smart"phone designed by the same team that launched pastel-and-whimsy Material You? Squiggle animations and oversized rounded buttons? The worst looking, least intuitive timepicker widget in the past two decades? A WEATHER widget that only shows the TIME when it's narrower than 3 icon widths? Icons that are no longer immediately identifiable? System will keep pestering you every three months if you actually want a password manager installed? or assumes you want permissions cleared if you don't use every app every week?
Yuck. Pixel didn't win. Rather, nobody else competed.
