        Simply I prefer brands other than Samsung, I prefer to get my NECESSARY ACCESSORIES in the box like they USED TO COME with Samsung phones as well, now I can get them elsewhere but not from them. Why? Samsung is greedy and I'm not here to support that.

        I also prefer to have the ability to fast charge my phone, well under an hour, and Samsung's 45W charging WITH AN EXPENSIVE CHARGER SOLD SEPARATELY, isn't fast enough in the flagship segment anymore.

        I prefer clean UI, not necessarily stock android, but definitely not something like One UI.

        There are clear advantages to Samsung as well, like their super long software support, which is great, but there are other things to a phone than software updates. A phone with capable hardware can last without updates, an underpowered phone with years of updates to come is nothing, but paperweight.

        There is nothing wrong with it if one prefers Samsung phones, but not everyone does, it's enough to just accept that much.

                            Anonymous, 18 Mar 2024Midrange Galaxy A55 is better than chinese phone infected w... moreInterestingly enough, i was an avid user of both Samsung and lg smartphones not so long time ago. And because of a couple of reasons, more like the resulting sum of that decided to go for Chinese smartphones this time, just out of curiosity.

                            What we were experiencing with branded smartphones on everyday basis was... complicated. I didn't even think we would dive deeply into modern smartphones these days, and have therefore chosen a simples ones to start with. These were both poco and realme phones this time around.

                            And what it all ended up with is that these new Chinese phones were far way better then older branded ones, almost in every matter. Can't probably describe of how pleased we were with these ones, it's including everything: ui, features, design, comfort, niceness, all of it.

                            To say precisely, ui on realme was clean, and poco did have some advertisement.

                            And frankly, nowadays i don't even think about going back to Samsung, especially with their one.ui. Makes just no sense to me, having such an alternative. I would rather look on some pro models, like 13t pro, or iqoo 12, or oppo find x6.

                              Even if for sale with 50% discount there are a lot better phones to buy for that price.
                              For example Motorola edge 40 Neo.
                              Nothing 2a, Xiaomi redmi note 13 pro plus 5G and several more.
