Android15, 15 Mar 2024meanwhile me reading this on my lpddr3 device You can read this even from the lpddr1 device, but everything is made nowadays only for AI, and AI models love eating RAM like nothing, 16 GB is the bare minimum for flagship AIphones next year, the faster the RAM the better. I'm working with top local hosted llms right now, and you pretty much need 64GB to get reasonable results.

                ?!

"20 Gbps and 16 Gbps processing speeds running at 1.1V instead of the 1.35V industry standard." Speeds are INSANE and this was completes 5 months ago! Look again speeds and ultr low voltage and people think ARM isn't the answer for computers?!!

Roflmao Arm cpus and Doc's have BEEN there since the very dawn of Consumer computing think Acorn pcs foe elementary school and sold intensely well on the consumer market at the very beginning for a decade! They were the Apple of the UK ans most of Europe!

Remember that crap movie Hackers featuring Angolie Jokie?
That line "RISC, RISC IS GOOD" low voltage h8gh performance without overhead and efficiency long before x86 even took off from Intel before the P2 or P3 or PIV chips!

if snapdragon 8 gen 4 has cpu and ram stacked together it would be a disaster like poco x3 pro

the "LPDDR6 DRAM" text on the photo were completely unnecessary

And the vocal minority on GSM Arena might care about eMMC or UFS or whatever, but 99% of the actual market and consumers don't.

Higher RAM tiers also drive prices for lower RAM speed

But you are right it will be taxation for flagship spenders and beta testing... And the difference will be minimal.. a game of inches

Be it fitness or history, everything can be altered and twisted without any reasons at times. As I said, AI is something cool but definitely not something that makes you go "oh uh I really feel like my device is absolute dogsh*t and need to upgrade to the next one" as companies want to make you believe. At least on phones. AI implementation on online sites is available everywhere and like, my point was just that, on phones, all this AI stuff doesn't really matter as much as let's say the removal of the top and bottom bezels did back during the S8 days. I never said AI isn't useful, it's extremely useful, I said it's a nice to have, for example DLSS is the best form of real time upscaling I've seen so yeah, I know AI is cool but still, nothing so crazy that it changes the world or anything like companies want to make you believe.

Probably to avoid the same case with MS chatbot that turned right wing after engaging with pre-Elon Twitter users a long time ago.
