13 June, 2013
We could eventually see iPhones with 4.7" and 5.7" screens, as well as cheaper iPhones in various colors.

            [Can't beat them join them]

            1. Android is so popular so they made ios7 look like Android in order to snag some Android lovers back to iOS.

            2. Big phone & cheap phone are eating up their pie. So they need to do something even though they're bashing the idea of big screen phone or phone with stylus before.

It doesn't matter what product they make as long as there a fruit logo on it then ifans will buy and praise it even they're made from recycled cardboard.

though I used Android, I still find iOS 7 more polished and nicer to use. I stay with Android because of customization

Andoid and the Collective have as our think tank predicted, created a critical mass of Innovation, and Creativity that cannot be.blunted. Apple may have their olace in the market and in history, but betwen HTC. LG. SAMSUNG. SONY. PANASINIC, soon MOTOROLA. With PANTECH. HUAWEI. ZTE. And MORE ciming into the Android fold. All these companies with their Dedicated men and women vying for mindshare, and shelfspace. Each willing to compete yet loosely cooperate to thrive vs the Evil Apple who foolisly awakened the Giant that is Android. This is going to be one for business majors the world around to pour.over. and dissect. The.public.wins.

Apple has always been a supporter for small screen sizes but since the latest iPhone they are not.
I mean , seriously what is the real reason for buying an iPhone other than bragging and even bragging with an IPhone is so 2011, there is barely any apple fans left here in tech sites and blogs and apple's glance and luster are beginning to fade , for instance , when ever a phone was announced in 2011 it was a must to take a photo for it next to an iPhone but now it's compared to the Android phone of its range.
If any Apple fan can read this , could you please tell me what is that glorious reason for buyinh an iPhone over Android flagships ( and don't tell me that it's lag because that is no longer an excuse with all those quad-cores flooding the market)

Beware. This is NOT like before. Android is in Full effect. Lawsuits WILL abound against Apple. We are NOT like XEROX, whose I. P. you pilfered in the early 70s.

Anonymous, 13 Jun 2013Ugh. Cheaper variations of their phone? Different scre... morePremium quality? Really? who needs a premium quality hardware when most cellphone users change phones every year? Good quality is enough.

"Exclusivity" for the iphone? Lol! Whenever I go out, I couldn't go five minutes without seeing someone use an iphone. Iphones are not exclusive, they are just absurdly expensive for its features... and people who previously aspired for this phone are starting to realize that there are "better" products out there... ergo Apple changing its strategy.

Steve Jobs would probably turn in his grave if he hears this.

                            Then and now...

"Anything larger than 3 1/2 inch screen is huge, it's ridiculous." - then came the 5 with a 4 inch screen.

"That's too small for a tablet (Galaxy Tab). 10 inch is perfect." - then came the iPad mini.

Things I hope to see soon on iPhones/iPads (from Android):

                            - Phablet sized device.
                            - Something live on the homescreen (not pulldown) similar to widgets or tiles.
                            - Something like S-pen or hover technology.
                            - Swipe-like keyboard (or ability to install customized keyboards).
                            - Replaceable batteries (for spares).
                            - The international standard charging connector (micro-USB) for emergencies.
                            - Expandable memory.
                            - FM radio (not important, but nice to have).
                            - Map that works like Google Maps (soon to receive Waze features).

I think they need a lot more than size and colors to get the people who have given up on iPhone to come back.mwhat show us what you can do if you can still do it,
