Nexus 4 does not lag. It's not the operating system that causes lag. It's the user interface that Samsung, Sony etc put on top of the OS that causes the lag. Vanilla android hardly lags. If I browse while the gallery is open and audio playback is active as well as some more processes in the back ground then there is some lag. However nothing that is bother some in the least.

AnonD-90736, 20 Jun 2013As long as they don't take forever releasing this and they ... moreYes. All android phone lags.

Which begs the question: Why go for specs when it still lags??

Only sheeps go upgrade their phone every 6mths just to keep up with specs.

I say go for a nice designed phone with a decent size you can handle. Like Sony Z /ZL.

If this is waterproofed, as good as the Wacom digitizer on the Note series, software innovations for the stylus and has a good screen on usage time of maybe 8 hours- I'll get it if the Note 3 doesn't offer much. But most likely this will have the bad fixed battery again.

And for this Sony Togari, some spec and features are still yet to be announced and revealed like display and etc. If Sony doesn't disappointed ppl again with a average quality screen quality on a flagship device (tot it is not poor for the Z and ZL), and done well/ok in most other basic part like call, camera and etc, Sony will surely steal lots of attention and phablet users from Samsung.

The battery should be twice as powerful as Galaxy Note 2's juice container.

As long as they don't take forever releasing this and they have divx support, which I assume they will, then this will definitely be my next phone. With regards to lagging, all phones lag, some more than others, you can't just blame the OS, my nokia n900 has always lagged on maemo, my lg 4x hd on android 4.0 also lags. Its best to enjoy the experience rather than moan about lag all the time or the size of smartphones.

Anonymous, 20 Jun 2013S2 lags S3 lags S4 with exynos lags S4 with s600 lags ... moreThe lag is not due to the processors being not powerful enough, but rather due to bad CPU governors and general design of android. I own a galaxy s2 and the occasional lag doesn't bother me. With more powerful processors things like browsing the web gets significantly more smooth.I see no reason to get a device with s600 when s800 Is almost out.

So i do not believe that will change with s800 either. The issue is android the ultimate lag + battery drain OS.. with S-Lag feature.. even s1200000 cannot save it.
