The Note II is considered as the most advanced and most feature-packed Android gadget of it's time, even untill this day.

This phablet just needs a 20,000 mAh battery but then again due to the resource hungry os ,this phablet will last only 4 hours even with a 20,000 mAh battery. Sigh.

A billion-dollar marketing budget in a market segment with no competitors is the reason for Samsung's Note success. This time around though, there WILL be competition. Lots of it. Sony and HTC (at least) are bringing out the big guns.

Like I said, the Note 3 will sell more, but if you want the best device, you'll get the Xperia or the One Max.

Problem is not with the phone makers, samsung or sony makes good phones under the limitation of a crap OS. The real issue is with android, power hogging and resource intensive. People just shuns phones with battery >3k and not quad core of at least A15s.

I'm sure the battery will be small. That's always been the problem with Xperia. Probably 6 hours of web/video.

It'll sell more, of course, because of Samsung's billion-dollar marketing budget, but this phone will be thinner, water-resistant, better display, better build quality.

Between this and the PS4, I think the term "Sony'd" should become part of the lexicon.

But its still the worse navigation ever.. and unusable for 10 inchers. i feel this will spread to sony tablet Z and this phablet.

                              1. 3 softkey in the middle with NO WAY to customize or MOVE it..
                              2. Play games and misclick those buttons..
                              3. Giant Phone UI for tablets in android 4.2 .. (Not much people know or understand this.. because no one buys 10 inch android tablets)

They better get their acts together and develop something different for 5.0.. else get stuck with that 3 physical buttons forever.

Use the multi-gesture from ipad, then use android .. you feel crap unless u root and install GMD GestureControl.. its that bad.

If the above given specs are correct then so far so good. Now what is left is how it is priced. Meaning obscenely priced or competitively priced.
