But still A17 Pro is plenty fast,it has enough RAW power so a better utilisation can leas to much better gameplay overall.

CPU-wise they are ahead although only for single-core-performance, GPU-wise, the 8 Gen 3 is ahead by quite a large margin. Like, that thing has twice the GFLOPS the A17 Pro GPU has. It's mostly just marketing, Snapdragon has long catched up and even beaten Apple in some ways.

480p 30 fps again or actually somewhat decent looking/ running this time? So far, the ports have been really underwhelming after all the hype Apple tried to get.

Wow, great, now I am gonna buy an iPhone or iPad because I can play a PC game I have never heard of on it.
Sometimes I have the feeling companies ignore the things that make them less competitive and try to become competitive by offering things that make everyone wonder why they would need this.
