I dont need a charger as I have plenty of USB-C adaptors at much higher charge speeds, BUT to remove it and increase the price by £100 is nothing short of simply taking the proverbial P*SS

I know a lot of people like big number on chargers, but it is not as simple - OnePlus and many others are implementing fast charging the right way and there is Samsung that fast charges for like 30 seconds and then drops to a much lower wattage due to poor battery management, heat, chemistry or simply lack of software talent.
It seems the only people who care for fast charging are the vocal minority on forums, because this particular spec does not affect sales of most of the brands.
I personally really like it, Vooc charging is IMHO still pretty impressive after all those years, but it still makes like 1% of my buying decision. I probably never got to a situation, where I let my phone reach 1% battery and had to leave ASAP somewhere.

Why hve iSheep put up with this for years? I have had a variety of android phones over the years and most of them have included a very fast charger in the box. My Oneplus phones i've been using for so many years have all shipped for 65w+ charges in the box. For significantly less cost. My current Oneplus has a 100w charger.
Heck even my xiaomi tablet has a 33w fast charger in the box.

Apple does this because of the "planet and environment"
They care about money, not the planet. If they did, they would not have used more packaging, gas (transportation) and so on.

Years ago for a few buck I bought few 100W USB chargers that are cheaper and considerably better build than Apple ones.

Just remove the box and data cable already, it's far better for enviroment. People already got their own data cable and iPad box on their house anyway, if that's the Apple fanboy's excuse.
