New iPad Pro and iPad Air don't ship with chargers in the EU and UK

Time to start saving the environment by buying a separate charger that ships in its own separate packaging.

Its fine... we all have 20 spare chargers sitting around these days

    Why dont ship an empty box.most people already have a couple of tablets here and there.also it's better for the environment. Even better,to reduce use of paper payment in cash can be rejected.only digital.
    Or remove the battery and make the products usable only when connected to a power outlet.

      There's been a lot of people praising the EU lately because it's been putting pressure on Apple to not be A-Holes, but if the EU actually had a spine and actually cared about consumers. It would make chargers, headphone jacks, and microSD slots mandatory.

      Having those things cannot make the user experience worse, but they can certainly make it better. Even if you personally don't need use one or all of them, there are many people who do.

            Save environment... by creating separate plastic/paper packaging and separate transport, and also charging extra for it...

            Why they just say that they dont give it to you because you probably already have few chargers in home... its that simple, no need to lie about enviroment.

              But then if you have to buy a charger you then have to get that delivered as well which isn't good for the environment

                  IMHO, I would be glad it is not in the box, there is a limited space in anyone's home for stuff you don't need and only takes up space.

                      The last iPhone I bought was iPhone 7 Plus. I didn't buy any other up to the last one just because they don't have the separate number row in the on-screen keyboard.
                      Now this? I am not going to buy any until they give me a charger and the number row.
                      By the way, how am I going to charge the new one if I make a mistake and buy? With my broken 7 Plus charger?
