I know exacly what is corrected in Alpha. Even noise, sharpness, and even RAW (on transistor level). All signals are also compressed even before compression.
Chromatic aberration is visible when lens have that issue and software correction cannot 100% get rid of it. Xiaomi with that fancy super expensive attached LEICA lens have chromatic aberration.

In most scenarios 24mm is the best lengh because most people make photos of city. 85mm is portrait lens. It is harder to make 50mm "fast"/bright lens than 24mm.

So while 24mm is nice, the lack of 50mm is pretty disappointing in practice as a photographer, especially if you are someone who takes RAWs with your smartphone and display the photos on a big screen.

So, still nothing other than digital zoom between 24mm and 85mm. As a camera company, they should know that people need 35mm and 50mm.

The rest of the parameters are selected by the CPU automatically (shutter/ISO). AE correction is only needed to determine whether HDR should be flat or contrast.
Is one slider (in menu) really too much for people these days?

What I need in Xperia 1 vi
                                  1. Better camera sensor
                                  2. Better hdr in auto mode video

The whole point that I made in my first comment was, "Xperia 1 V's telephoto wasn't very sharp and currently it's falling behind the best performer we have right now. Hopefully Sony can work on it to improve the optics for the next model". Nothing else. If you somehow thought this was an attack against a particular brand then that's not my problem, not yours.

GSMArena also posts an update in case the camera performance of a particular device has drastically improved. It has been the case with Xperia 1 IV where the pictures were looking extremely soft and mediocre on the telephoto lens at first but the succeeding software update mitigated the issue. This wasn't the case for the Mark V at all.

Hopefully a racist troll would be able to find a place where they belong, because it's certainly not this website.

Honestly i feel you. If your newly released phone lose to a last-gen, it must be embarrasing.

It's 5.4x crop zoom from its 85mm equivalent telephoto camera, of course it wouldn't look super detailed as the standard native 1x or 3.7x images.
Try shooting the same photo on any iPhone/Xperia, it would be just an ugly blob because: 1) They wouldn't be able to focus that close to begin with, 2) It doesn't have enough pixels to work on after such an extreme digital cropping, 3) They don't have a good super-resolution algorithms to compensate for the lack of resolution.
