the Samsung galaxy note 3 should have Snapdragon 800 it would be good for Samsung smart phones

well, 3GB or 4GB of RAM is definitely nice to have, but Samsung please i beg u, please make 32GB and 64GB version of flagship devices widely available, not only limited to certain regions. and please ditch the 16GB option for flagship devices too if u are going to put in endless bloatwares for consumer. we will continue to buy ur phones/tablets/phables if u can improve on those mentioned.

I really enjoy the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 - finding it often functioning as a laptop replacement. Before buying it, I was concerned that its large screen (5.5 diagonal inches) would make it too hard to hold. It wasn't. The large screen size has been extremely useful. No problems have been encountered. Using it with a multi-media and multi-port (HDMI, USB, etc.) docking station, it even acts as a desktop replacement. The Note III appears even more alluring and promises to be better. Yes, I want one.

3GB of Ram would be awesome, hope it is true! Then if had "AT LEAST" internal 32GB (of coarse 64 or 128 would be better), along with that beautiful screen and 13mp camera, it would be so worth the upgrade from the Note 2!!! Can't wait until this is released!

AnonD-77443, 05 Jul 2013Good points, my biggest issues with the Xperia Z ultra are:... moreTrue, my friend Bunyip. Their screens have terrible viewing angle color washouts. I stumbled on the Xperia Z again. Really washes out, and the hard core fans just deny it.
I download torrents with my Note II all the time, and that's why I need a battery change late in the afternoon instead of a plug in.
I suspect the large bezels were the result of the thinner profile. Where else can they put the insides and probably the reason they took out the flash lights some they did have space even on their XZ Tablet.
The S Pen really is heaven-sent for me. It's blurring traditional and electronic visual art. The portable Wacom digitizer will be a standard.

- Massive bezels mean its not really pocketable (its 30mm longer and 10mm wider than the note 2... which will be about the same size as the note 3)
- I dont trust sony screens... i am yet to see one that isn't washed out and has terrible viewing angles.
- I think the battery life will be average compared with the note 2.
- No removable battery or S-pen (not to important to me).

My comment was to someone saying that it should be 4000 mAh... i dont think this is possible. I think 3500mAh is more realistic.

*Big yet pocketable. The Note I and II can fit top shirt pockets. The XZU can only be placed in a jeans back pocket. You'll need to a bag to carry around the XZU during commutes.
*Full integrated ACTIVE Wacom digitizer feature is what makes the G Note series an attractive and useful feature for digital visual artists and designers. A pencil or hard pointed or capacitive stylus for the XZU do not have 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity to create dynamic thin-thick lines on the fly and can only produce uniform thickness lines at a time.
*The Note II currently has a very efficient power management, with its Super AMOLED screen and quad-core processor. Battery at 3050mAh for a 6.4" TFT 1080p screen on the XZU, even with the "power saving" quad-core 2ghz+ processor will not be enough for power stamina. The XZU's TFT screen's ambient lighting would take a toll on the power reserves.
*Sealing its battery for the sake of attaining a thin and waterproofed feature and look, will really make usage time short, just like the Xperia Z' 4-hour actual screen on. You'll need to plug in during mid-day in order to get through the day, or constantly carry and plug in to a power bank. You really need a bag for the XZU and to carry the chargers.
*A flash light as a functional torch when you need to find your way in the dark. It's a useful feature, especially for outdoors, seeing that the XZU is waterproofed, but without a torch light?
*Multi-windows tasking. No, the XZU will not have this.
Waterproofing is the only feature that the XZU has over the G Note series. The XZU is only good for would-be hipsters with less functional features.

ZU is cool with nice display, but lacks a flash, only has 3000MAH batt, and down to 8mp"not the worst thing".
The only advantage it really seems to have is Xreality processing"if it lives up to it's name".
Other than that most of what you can expect if rumors of the Note3 holds up"which judging by logic most will" the only thing ZU will have is fanboyism as an advantage. The Honami might be a better contender.

So it'll be a year of the S4 and Note 3. Cool. I hope they'll totally change the design for next year though, even though I bought the S4 myself.
