Years after Google came out with the notification bar, Apple applied for notification bar patent.

Now tell me how could Apple apply for a patent that already pre existed? How could Apple claim ownership of the notification bar that it blatantly ripped off from Android? How would you feel if somebody steal your phone then claim it as his own?

Russian carriers have failed to bring contract phone sale model to the masses. And they cannot compete at all with other resellers. And 'grey market' iPhone sales are valuable here in Russia.
