With the rumored specification , I don't think they can compete with market . google already spent a lot of money for the adv. there should be sth. Wow like 3gb ram and 2.0 cpu , 3000+ mah battery , build quality can be a good asset like htc once . Other than that , moto x not worth to get such an adv.
nexus 4 would be better in terms of quad core processer and clock speed 1.50
ANYway , wish the motorola all the luck with Mr. Adv device on august . We all hope to be amazed with the spec. Regardless the costy price.

If Moto X has 4.3 inch screen than Htc One mini is Dead before Arrival.
and i bet this would be the highest selling phone if priced reasonably.

I believe the Specification are good enough if the price is adequate, based on the dual core 1.7 ghz, it should be around 250 dlls. The processor qty. & speed is not as important as the 2GB of Ram. The Ram will be very helpful to provide a smooth experience and also considering it is a midrange it is more than enough. If I can by a good phone at a price of a subsidized phone w/o the need to get stuck for 24 mo. I much rather have the Moto X

The specs is old but is more than I need in my day. It's has 2 gigs of ram, 720p,softbutton(I really love it !!!) and clocked @ 1,7.
I what this phone so bad!! Come to Brazil!

I'm thinking of what smartphone to choose. Nexus 4 or Moto X. I haven't seen the Moto specs yet. But I wish it would be better than Nexus 4.

if they don't come out with quad core handset(or at least have it customizable with that option) there will be no competition against the HTC Samsung and Sony flagships

Hmmmm, agree, the design is extremely nice looking. Specs are decent enough and the 2gig ram coolio. But .. i wonder if the phone would have an annoyed rocking effect on a flat surface. If it doesn't, then i think i'll buy this.
