And if you had ever used symbian, blacbery, palmos, you would not come with the concousion of samsung being stoled, neither, others you have mentioned. Dig a bit more into knowlege and innovation and you will find the real ones standing behind what we hold today. And those are not, samsung, apple, htc, micromax (what the hack is this anyway), lg, and other android crapp...

Oopss you can see the traditional,S3 design on all,phones..S3,S3 mini,S duos,Note2,mega 6.3,5.8,S4(all models) and that too all plasticky...i guess Samsung ran out of design innovation.

LG hasn't released their beast yet! And you are waiting for sony to release their beast. 1st to be @ 3rd position on their current fiscal state! Lol come on! That beast won't make it jump to 3rd position soon.

I do not say that Samsung invented the SmartPhone, but with the SGH-Z610, they made what it is today! People claim that Apple have done that, with the iPhone, which ”revolutionalized” the world of phones! But they only stole others' ideas! The phones that you mentioned had an impact on the SmartPhones world but they did not introduced a concept! That was made by the iPhone which copied the ideas that they are recognizes for from the SGH-Z610: the screen size, design, circle button, icons grid etc.! That is what I want to say! Not that Samsung invented the SmartPhone! They only made it more easier and Apple stole that idea! Sony, Nokia etc. had their innovations also!

They did not innovate, they only get things from the others, put them in their products and sue everybody for stealing their ”ideas”!

Sony is not included because they haven't released their results yet for this quarter, once they do come back compare the numbers. Based on their track record in the recent past my guess is they would be placed 3rd.

Before Nokia fanboys fall into the illusion that Apple/Samsung are losing share due to Nokia-WP products... not at all. These are due to improve shares of other android brands - notably, LG and Lenovo. The article is clear about this.
