[deleted post]True :( only thing that I would buy from Samsung is Mega cause HTC's Butterflies cost too much, and from the other ones only if they are Nexus devices.. Other than that HTC all the way!

Lenovo within the next year will be a force to contend with. They have been very aggressive getting into the Smartphone arena. They have a great name in laptops.

I don't know about Q2, but according to Bloomberg HTC was in 9th place in Q1 2013 global smartphone market with only 2.4% marketshare. Their strategy to have thin phones with small battery have failed them again.

poor HTC..
Who cares about build quality when you almost always put on a case. Sony's design is good but I prefer Galaxy S flagship for its Wolfson DAC.

Wow! LG and Lenovo are really climbing the spots threatening the popular brands Samsung and Apple that are most of the time overrated! I have always been believing in Sony and HTC but just like with Samsung I am starting to believe that Sony and HTC might climb the spots but never at number one while Sammy will start to go downhill, below Sony and HTC if the Note 3 will not become as successful as the Note 2 and S3. S4 isn't really that big as the S2 and S3 back in time. Sammy's only saving grace now is the Note 3. LG might make it a tad bigger than Lenovo since they're a more popular brand in smartphones and they tie up most of the time with Qualcomm while Lenovo uses Intel and Mediatek which are not that popular on smartphones than Qualcomm but if Lenovo ties up with Qualcomm, darn! It will definitely soar higher though LG and Lenovo can price their flagship devices way cheaper than Sammy, HTC and Sony.

People had no clue how to use them (not that people know now hot to properly use a smartphone, they just keep up with a trend), claming that this phones are to big (was the era of small phones trend). But in fact they could not understand smartphones so they found all sorts of escuses not to like one. Oh is to big, oh it's ugly, who need internet on his phone, i just need to call, bla bla bla, oh i cannot understand a damn thing in this phone, and why it has color display anyway?:). And now they are bragging of how much they know about smartphones and how better their smartphones are in front of others:))). The trend has changed. The idiocracy? Not!
